Yacht Classic Sloop - Bill Tripp 39
Yacht Classic Sloop - Bill Tripp 39
Code: INA-NN-MC
This beautiful classic 39ft 1967 sloop was professionally handcrafted out of seasoned Paraguyan Cedar in Argentina to the design of the legendary US yacht designer Bill Tripp, commissioned by the current owner. With three generations of the family having sailed on her, and over 120,000 NM under her long keel, her proven sea kindliness has been a great base for numerous refinements and improvements over the years.
Features include- electric/hydraulic auto-pilot plus wind-vane self-steering; great set-up for solo or short-handed sailing; quality kerosene stove and oven (no gas onboard), 3cyl fw Yanmar with hydraulic prop drive (with spare pump), starts and runs well; full boat covers with recent bimini, dodger and sail cover replacements; recent inflatable tender with 2hp outboard; substantial windlass and reputable ground tackle; 20lphr water-maker; and a well located transferrable Nelson marina berth.
Her current (and only) owner is retiring from boating due to health concerns after having enjoyed adventures aboard Marina over the past 57 years.
Sharply priced, this well maintained and well presented vessel represents excellent value- especially considering recent investments eg. watermaker, new canvas, etc..
